Student Loan Debt Clinic (Lincoln Hospital)

The NYC Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) Office of Financial Empowerment is hosting a series of student loan debt clinics where you can get:

• FREE confidential one-on-one financial counseling with a professional financial counselor who can help you explore more affordable payment plans, see if you qualify for debt forgiveness programs, and more.

• FREE consultation with an attorney

You will leave the Clinic with a better understanding of your student loans, what is required of you, and your options for repayment and forgiveness. The goal is to make sure that if you need help understanding your student loans that you get the information and the assistance you need. Referrals for additional services and resources will also be available.

Financial counseling sessions are 45 minutes, and it is recommended that you reserve a ticket in advance. Walk-ins will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
